Chester County Concert Band @ The Kimmel
The CCCB, of which Lee happens to be a part, had an opportunity to play at Verizon Hall in The Kimmel Center for the Kimmel’s Summer Solstice celebration on 6/24/2006.
This was a great opportunity to test out my new camera before taking it to London.
I started out on the floor where I got some decent pics of the band.
But as tubas are resigned to sitting in the back, I wasn’t getting any good shots of Lee! I couldn’t even see his bell because the conductor was directly in my line of sight. Fortunately, there are some seats that are actually behind the stage, so about midway through the show, I snuck up to that level where my trusty zoom lens afforded me some good shots of both Lee and the family.

Wow those are sweet! The camera seems to work well. Some of them look quite clear. Haha you even got me in page turning mode. I could probably figure out what song that is if I tried. And Riz napping
